The players at the Bilbao Summit

The Bilbao Summit is geared towards all those who are responsible for creating an Information Society that is accessible to all people, which meets the needs of citizens, and which creates jobs and new professional powers. To this end, it will provide a platform for meeting and debate for:

• Political representatives of cities, regions and other agents of decentralized administration.
• Members of Parliament and members of Assemblies of elected candidates.
• Representatives of Regions and Local Groups.
• Representatives of companies from the ICT sector.
• Economic leaders.
• Researchers and representatives from the academic world.
• Members of Civil Society who act on a local and international level.

Around 2,000 local representatives from all over the world are expected.
